#4 – Processed Foods
It is known that packaged food is not the best option, even the ones that are gluten-free. Most brands tend to add extra sugar, fat, and unhealthy fillers to make the packaged food taste delicious, according to the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority, and the Gluten-Free Society.
As you may notice, the solution is up to you when you are at the grocery checkout. It is okay to have lazy days and eat packaged foods. But, minimize them as much as possible and keep eating fresh home-cooked meals. They are cheaper, healthier, and more delicious than any packaged food.
where is the science to back up this statement? I see no real correlation in anything I have studied between eating grains and being healthy…as it seems to cause inflammation among other symptoms. So far it appears a meat and leafy vegetable diet with berries/cherries is the healthiest for humans as our body uses fat for energy, proteins for muscle building and vitamins, and leafy vegetables found naturally round it out.
