In general, exercise helps us fall asleep faster and it affects its quality positively, but only if you finished 3 – 6 hours before your usual bedtime. Don’t try to sleep immediately after returning from the gym because your body would still be very awake and it will not rest, especially if you took a hot shower (it awakes our nervous system).
