Nobody can stand a day with two lettuce leaves and some slices of ham in their stomachs in order to lose weight. Do not go on extreme diets as your diet should be as rich and varied as possible and include rice, pasta, potatoes, protein and carbohydrates in optimal amounts.

However, keep in mind that a lack of calories is as damaging to weight loss as overeating. The faster your metabolic system is – and this only happens when you eat the best foods (not McDonald’s or Burger King, among other kinds of fast food) and in the most appropriate amounts – the more calories you will burn and the faster you will lose weight.

If your metabolism is slow, it is natural that your body cannot burn off the accumulated fat in time and therefore you can´t lose weight. This leads to frustration, hunger and even depression as your efforts are not being recognized in practice.
