Diabetes escalated quickly around the world, including the U.S. The disease increased by 3.8% between 1980 and 2014 due to irregular exercise, overweight, high blood pressure, and unhealthy diet. People who live with a low income are more likely to die of complications from this disease.
Diabetes is a group of diseases that target the insulin production in the body and is divided into 2 categories: type 1, when the pancreas can’t produce Insulin and type 2, when it doesn’t produce enough insulin.
While diabetes is mostly unpreventable, a healthy diet (focus on adding fiber to your meals) and daily exercise will prevent its dangerous symptoms.
