Regular exercise can have a myriad of health benefits that go way beyond weight loss, but the exercise you choose to do can be harmful to your bones.
Unfortunately, popular exercises like cycling and spin classes can have a pretty bad effect on your back and on your neck, since some bikes will force you to lean forward for extended periods of time.
The good news is that weight-bearing exercises will actually be good for you – they strengthen the muscles that surround the spice, and they promote bone strength.
So, if you want to exercise, just choose wisely. Not exercising at all is not an option – with age, your bone density will decline, and without exercise, that process only speeds up.
