Speaking of sports and athletes, of course, energy bars or protein bars are made for those who exercise heavily in order to gain enough protein and to effectively replace the needed meals.

Shockingly, most of these energy bars are nothing but candy bars that have been sopped up, which means they contain the same amount of fats, sugar, and calories that are unhealthy for you, whether you work out or not.

So, if you are willing to eat these bars, make sure to pick the ones that are low in sugar and pack on the protein.
