Clearly, these drinks were made for athletes and people who practice intense workout every day, and not for those who do 5 squats and call it a day.

If you don’t work out daily, or at least few times a week, then it is better to avoid these beverages because they contain heavy salts and liquid sugar. The goal of drinking these drinks is to restore the salts and energy that people lose while exercising. Otherwise, it is not healthy at all.

Plus, if you feel like you are sweating too much and you want to restore and hydrate your body, then it is better to stick to water. That what will keep you hydrated, healthy, and fit.
