Flaxseed oil can also be a great fish oil substitute for people who suffer from allergic reactions to fish oil, as it also has strong amounts of omega-3 fatty acids that you need in your diet.
Consider cooking with flaxseed oil or using it on your skin to rehydrate it and keep it smooth, especially during winter.
