Another health benefit of eating flaxseed every day is its ability to lower cholesterol levels in people with high cholesterol.

Studies show that consuming 3 tablespoons of flaxseed grounds daily for three months can lower 17 percent of LDL cholesterol in the blood, also known as “bad” cholesterol which is associated with risks of cardiovascular disease, stroke, and peripheral vascular disease.
