1. What Are Carbs?
Carbs are con one of the three major macronutrients that keep your body healthy and running. Carbs are the major source that gives our body and mind fuel to do its daily task. They can be divided into 2 categories: simple and complex. The simple carbs are quickly digested. They mostly get a bad reputation because they spike your blood sugar levels, leading to many health problems, including diabetes and obesity. As for the complex carbs, they are what you can call good carbs. The complex carbs do not spike your blood sugar. They are rich in fiber, and your body takes a lot of time to break them. The more time your body takes to break them, the more energy you will have throughout the day, unlike simple carbs, which give you an extreme energy boost for a little, followed by tiredness for the rest of your day.
