Just like tomatoes, onions become old and moist in the humidity of the refrigerator. Or it will be a crunchy onion? They also tend to transmit their aroma to the products placed in the vicinity. And although you might like the taste of onions, you probably will not want all other foods to have their flavor.

It is actually best to keep the whole onions in a warm and dry place (avoiding the sun’s rays) until they are cut. Once cut, you should store them in the refrigerator’s crisper in the vegetable pan of the fridge, but in a reclosable box. They will keep their taste for a few days.

Remember also that you should never collect your onions and potatoes together. On the coast, the onion can emit a gas that makes them both spoiling faster.
