A cup of coffee every morning may be so necessary to boost our energy, but it is also very harmful to our stomach! Caffeine stimulates the digestive system speeding up the movement, causing diarrhea or worsening the condition.

There are other items that are a source of caffeine as well such as soda, chocolate, and tea. Also, caffeine can cause heartburn and may elevate stress levels. Decaf may be a temporary solution to try controlling the caffeine addiction. But it is better to be avoided completely.
