When you curse, you vent off the negative feelings that have been building up inside you, and that is a good thing. All languages have their own set profane words, some are more creative than the others, but they share this characteristic nevertheless.

It seems that profanity is an essential part of the development of any language. If language is our tool to express ourselves, then it should help us express our negative feelings; and language does that! Research has suggested that moderate use of profanity can increase your pain tolerance. So don’t look down on cursing!
