It’s no surprise how these breakfast goodies can always manage to make the list of the worst heart foods. Yet, not so many people know how terrible it can actually be.

Just one creamy chocolate doughnut (just ignore how tasty it sounds) may contain a whopping 23g of sugar, 20g of fat (5 saturated), and 38g of carbs. The more doughnuts you eat, the more damage to your heart receives (not to mention the extra pounds.)

Eat this instead: Choose instant oatmeal, which will lower the bad LDL cholesterol and improve your metabolism. Make a fruity smoothie or add some fresh berries or other fruits to start your day.
