If a brown recluse spider or any type of the arachnids bites you, there is no need to freak out because normally they are not aggressive enough and the bite will be completely healed within three weeks without any treatment. However, in some of the rarest and unluckiest cases, the surrounding tissue might be destroyed by the venom.

Jeff Hanneman who is a guitarist from shred-metal band Slayer was declared dead in 2013 because of liver failure. The news, however, reported a different story claiming that Jeff died as a result of getting the flesh-eating disease, necrotizing fasciitis, which was transmitted to him via the bite of a spider in 2010.

It was said that he endured many opêration through doctors tried their hardest to slice off the dead tissue but in vain. The guy went into a medically induced coma and later on died. To make an end to all the confusion, a coroner proved that the reason behind which Jeff died was surprisingly alcohol-induced cirrhosis and not the spider bite.
