This one is very easy to remember due to its funny nature. “-Phagy” refers to the action of feeding upon the previous word. In biology, it is commonly used to describe many insects’ and animals’ diets. For instance, coprophagy is when little bunnies start eating their own feces (reminds me of my friend’s pug.)

A very good example is “hematophagy,” (remember “hema”, right?) which simply means blood consumption. Again in biology, the act of feeding on blood is the norm for vampire bats and people’s worst enemies, mosquitoes!
