By creating food with insecticide gene, we prevent many unwanted bugs. Thus, only the stronger ones survive which leads to the evolution of the new generation of superbugs that are resisting to the plant’s implanted toxins and the spray-on chemicals.

Moreover, scientists found multiple pests that were immune to the toxins that were genetically implanted into the GM seeds including BT corn and BT cotton which means that farmers will be obligated to use more powerful chemicals to fight these superweeds, increasing the risks of pollution and immunity problems.
