To make one full cup of orange, you will need too many oranges. Now let’s do the math: one cup of orange juice is going to provide you with 26 grams of sugar, but if you eat one orange, then you will get only 4 to 5 grams.
Basically, that cup of freshly juiced orange surpasses the daily recommendation of sugar for the ladies (25 grams), while the gentlemen get ¾ of it (37 grams).
Of course, this is not going to prevent us from drinking the juice because its benefits are screaming louder. This is why you should drink only ½ the cup.
But if you want the best results or you are watching your weight, then eat the orange fully to get all the fiber, antioxidants, and no more than 5 grams of sugar.
