Not only oranges are good for your eyes but also your heart! A recent research exposes that the frequent intake of oranges was linked to lower incidence of cardiovascular diseases.
This means that oranges may have a protective effect on the heart and that’s due to the minerals and vitamins it contains, and more particularly, potassium and vitamin C.
Another study that was conducted in 2012 also revealed that women who consume good intake of flavonoids, especially that found in oranges were less likely to get a stroke when compared to those who don’t consume the least amount.
