It sounds like the healthiest drink, but the versions you buy at the store almost always contain too many carbs and sugar. For instance, one 12-ounce mango-flavored smoothie from a popular brand includes 58.5 g of carbs. That’s equal to eating a sandwich and an apple.
Avoid store-bought smoothies at all costs and make your own healthier and tastier homemade berry smoothie. You’ll need half a cup each of strawberries, blueberries, and banana. Mix with some ice and enjoy for half the amount of carbs.
