Enemy no. 6: Oxidative Stress

Oxidative Stress© Wizoid

Oxidative stress refers to the damage caused by oxygen molecules called free radicals. These free radicals are produced naturally by the body when breathing, digesting and neutralizing alcoholic beverages or medicines and when the cells convert fat and carbohydrates into energy. But when they attack LDL cholesterol, it transforms and becomes a precursor of atherosclerosis
(which leads to blockage of the artery or thrombosis).

You can do a lot by looking for natural antioxidants: by doing more exercise, avoiding stress, eating more fruits and vegetables. Easily increase your daily intake of antioxidants by replacing sodas with apple or grape juice by putting broccoli in your salad.
