Fatigue makes a person weaker than usual and can interfere with daily activities and sleep. It manifests itself for various reasons including anemia, specific medications loss of appetite, depression or toxic substances produced when the cancer cells break down and die. Fatigue may occur several days after a chemotherapy cycle and continue well after the cancer treatment is complete. It may also slow down over time. Teens often describe fatigue as being:

– Of somnolence.
– Lack of physical and mental energy.
– The feeling of not being themselves.
– Lack of energy.
