Exposing yourself to the sun for long and prolonged hours can cause you sunburns, while not exposing yourself to the sun at all can lead to serious diseases and lack of the vitamin D. The solution? Moderation is the key and the use of sunscreen before stepping out of the house is extremely important as it will protect your skin from the harmful UV rays.
According to a study carried out by Pelle Lindqvist, MD and his colleagues, women who expose themselves to the sun rays were found less likely to develop cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, and pulmonary disease, more than those who completely avoid the sun.
