Maybe one of the reasons why you can’t get enough slumber is going back and forth to the bathroom because you constantly need to pee.

Are you wondering why you feel that way even when you haven’t even been drinking that much water? Well, maybe because you have been eating too much celery before bed.

Celery is known with its high amount of water, so regardless of when you stopped drinking the water, celery would still be able to fill your bladder.

The same applies to other food items that you might enjoy snacking on during the night, like watermelon, iceberg lettuce, and cucumber.

You can either stick to small portions or have a vegetarian source of protein instead, like spinach and yogurt. Keep in mind that any source of protein takes a while to digest, but meat especially due to its fat content.
