Most of us would forget about the health of our bones because, well, they can’t be our main focus when our tummies and skin are constantly dealing with things, right?

Julie Garden-Robinson is a professor in North Dakota State University, Ph.D., L.R.D, and she swears by the health benefits of dates to our bones. Basically, they contain boron, which is the main key for better and healthier bones.

Moreover, there is a study that shows minerals like potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, and calcium are capable to make our bones stronger and fight diseases like osteoporosis, and these minerals can all be found in dates and other dried fruits.

The number one element our digestive system needs are fiber, and to our luck, dates are rich on fiber, which means it will help our digestive system to work properly (if you have ever struggled with constipation, then you understand the pain as well as the importance of fiber).

Anyway, a study that was published in the British Journal of Nutrition found out that people who eat dates regularly have a healthier bowel movement than those who don’t. So if your digestive system has always been struggling with this issue, then add dates to your diet, your body will be grateful!
