Neck pain is one of the most common sleeping problems that can cause a lot of discomforts. Like back pain, this type of pain would only disappear if you keep your neck supported during sleep.
Hence, you’d better sleep on your back, put one pillow under your head and other two pillows under each of your arms. This way, you will feel more comfortable and the pain will automatically decrease. For better results, you’d better opt for orthopedic or roll pillows.
However, if you are that kind of person who would prefer to sleep on the sides, then, it is important to make sure that the pillows you are sleeping on are not higher than 6 inches as the height of your pillows must match the width of your shoulders so that you can maintain the correct position of your neck.
Stomach sleepers can use tinny pillows even if this sleeping position is not really recommended!
