#4 – Myth #4: You can’t freeze eggs

Yes, you can freeze eggs. They can even stay in the freezer for up to one year.

When you want to unfreeze eggs, thaw them in the refrigerator for an entire night then take them out and run cold water on them.

Wash the defrosted eggs, wash them thoroughly before peeling off the shell.

Or, place the frozen eggs in a jar and put the jar in a container filled with hot water. Leave the jar for five minutes or more.

One con to consider, however, is that the quality of eggs may diminish when they remain frozen for a long time, so scrambled eggs may not be the ideal way to cook your eggs. Try using them to make meatloaf, for example.
