Another really interesting misconception is that you’re better off eating brown eggs than white eggs, which is quite reminiscent of certain brown and white foods: brown bread vs white bread!
While brown bread, or whole wheat bread, is definitely healthier than white bread, and brown rice has more fiber and protein than white rice which makes it healthier, it is not the case for eggs.
In fact, the color or shape of eggs is to do with genes rather than quality. In other words, whether you prefer your eggshell brown or white eggs, you’re eating the same content!
