This may be hard to believe but it’s true that your body can confuse thirst with hunger, which is another warning sign that either you should drink water right away or generally increase your daily intake.

The next time you feel hungry, especially when you shouldn’t, try having a glass of water first instead of reaching for a snack and see if the hunger goes away.
