One of the dangers of eating white bread is increasing your risks of type-2 diabetes, especially for those who are obese or have a family history. What’s even worse is that Diabetes symptoms come on slowly, which explains why they often go unnoticed!

According to a research published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, eating white bread every day leads to a rapid increase in your blood sugar, which means excess insulin is being released into the bloodstream to push the sugar into the cell.

When the latter occurs on a regular basis, the cells become insulin resistant, which eventually makes controlling blood sugar levels harder to control.

The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition also published a study in which participants who have consumed several servings of whole grains per day had a less of a type of fat that increases the risk of type-2 diabetes.
