Not drinking enough water can have a negative impact on your heart health. What happens is that your blood turns thick and your vessels compress to preserve the limited amount of fluid. This causes the heart to boost its performance as it struggles to make thick blood flow via constricted vessels.

As a result, your heart will still suffer even if you’re a healthy person who works out on regular basis. This may lead to high blood pressure, shortness of breath, and tachycardia.
