#9 – Farmed Fish
Commercial fish farming includes raising so many fish, such as salmon, in a limited and crowded space. In fact, over 60% of the salmon consumed in the US are treated with pesticides, antibiotics, and other carcinogenic chemicals to try and control the bacterial and parasitic outbreaks that emerge from cramming fish in a small environment.
Moreover, farmed fish don’t contain as much omega-3 as wild salmon. Make sure to investigate the source of the fish you consume.
