A type of ark clam, this particular food comes from the Gulf of Mexico. The clams require depuration for safe consumption. If the seafood does not undergo the process wholly and carefully, thriving bacteria and other pathogens might still be present and found on the clams.

In fact, blood clams that haven’t been purged correctly have been known to cause hepatitis outbreaks. Yikes!

Peyote comes from a cactus native to Mexico with psychoactive and hallucinogenic properties. It is ingested and used as a spiritual drug by many aboriginal tribes in Mexico.

It has the power to take you on a wild trip, but if misused, the drug can become extremely toxic and cause a fatality. Be responsible and use caution if you are feeling daring. If you suffer from any preexisting mental conditions, it is advisable to steer clear altogether.
