Pregnancy increases the pain and the aches that strike all over our bodies, which makes hot tubs a perfect idea. But, elevating the body temperature during pregnancy can lead to certain birth defects.

It’s better to avoid any place where it might elevate your body temperature, or you can adjust your hot tub to maintain a lower temperature which is around 97 to 98 degrees. But, you need to keep a thermometer in the water to make sure it stays that way.

Or, you can limit your sauna or soak time to 10 minutes or less. Keep an eye on any overheating signs such as dizziness or profuse sweating.
