Cereals are rich in refined sugar, and their consumption can cause a false feeling of energy in the morning. Like other empty carbs, cereals are not healthy food. They have a short duration in the body and, after losing their effect, lead to tiredness and lethargy.

The best breakfast is one in which you add fiber, protein, and a whole grain carbohydrate to your breakfast meals to be satisfied for longer. Some nutritionists say that the inclusion of a slice of pizza is part of a healthy breakfast because it has more protein than cereals, for example.

However, there are other mistakes that people make regarding their eating habits. They are:

  • Skipping Breakfast: Dramatically decreases energy and increases appetite, which ends up encouraging a higher consumption of junk food.
  • Drinking Black Coffee: Increases cortisol levels, which leads to anxiety. If you drink coffee as a substitute for breakfast, you may suffer from gastritis.
  • Brush Your Teeth Immediately After Meals: After meals, tooth enamel is more vulnerable, especially if you have eaten fruit or citrus drinks. It is recommended to wash your mouth thoroughly – preferably with mouthwash – and then brush your teeth.

These are the morning habits that you should immediately eliminate from your life. They are difficult to change because, possibly, they have been part of your routine for several years.
