Your sleeping position can greatly influence your sleep quality. Hence it is very important to opt for a healthy sleeping position that shall help you enjoy a smooth and good night sleep.

Sleeping on your side, for instance, can cause you many health issues. The latter position is known as fœtal position and it is better avoided because it can prevent your diaphragm from moving comfortably and freely, which will lead you to develop back pain and lung issues.

Sleeping on your stomach, however, is another sleeping position that you need to change soon. It is not only considered harmful but also dangerous as it can put a certain pressure on your organs. In the long run, it can cause heart issues and nerve damage.

The best sleeping position, in this case, is sleeping on your back. This is more natural position and healthy. Still, you can avoid it in case you suffer from sleep disorders such as sleep apnea.
