The yogurts that we purchase from the supermarkets are basically full of thickeners, preservatives, and aromatizers; they are not what our bodies want at all. However, the main danger is the milk fat and sugar. Doctors advise that eating 6 tsp of sugar every day is enough, but 100 g (4 oz) of yogurt contain almost 3 tsp.

Consuming yogurt very often could lead to obesity, diabetes, and a weakened pancreas. Plus, average yogurts contain a lot of unhealthy fat, which can increase the cholesterol level in the blood, or cause strokes and heart attacks.

If you are obsessed with yogurt, you can prepare one yourself because it is really easy. Simply, mix milk and dry yeast together, then add honey or fruits to make your yogurt yummier.
