This is a simple yet a very effective exercise that will not only impress you with stunning results but also help you feel how your glutes work while performing this movement.

• Grab a mat and then lay down on it.

• Bend both your knees and then make sure you maintain your feet hip-distance apart. Still, close enough to your butt!

• To lift your hips off the floor/mat, make sure you press on your heels and then squeeze your glutes at the top.

• Gently lower your hips back on the floor/ mat and then repeat!

This exercise targets the lower part of your body and more specifically, your calves, hamstrings, and glutes. If you have no idea how you can use it in your workout, then, luckily, there are many useful stability workout videos on youtube. However, we suggest that you do the following :

• You should lay on your back and then put your feet on the ball.

• Make sure that you place your heels only and not your entire legs.

• Keep the weight on the shoulder blades and your feet and then slowly try to lift your hips off the floor/mat.

• While you do so, make sure that your butt muscles are squeezed and the ball is close enough. Remain in this particular position for about two seconds.

• Go back to your first position and then repeat the exercise.
