Everything in your body is constantly moving thanks to specialized proteins known as kinesins. According to a 2003-study from Stanford University, these hard-working proteins grab hold of molecules and move them from one place to another by walking in and around your cells.
What’s more, researchers believe this discovery could help find new treatments for serious diseases, such as Huntington’s and Alzheimer’s disease.
