Kombucha is also known as mushrooms tea or Manchurian mushroom, it is an effervescent tea that can be either black or green. It is made by fermenting tea using yeast and bacteria, while herbs and fruit may be added for flavor.

The kombucha culture is put into a broth of sugared tea since not adding enough sugar will give the drink a sour taste. It is also worth noting that during its preparation, there is a possibility that 2 to 3% of alcohol is going to be produced.

There are also many organic acids in Kambucha such as polyphenols, amino acids, and enzymes; however, we can’t determine the exact portion of each acid since the preparation methods vary from one person to another.
