There is a link between circadian disorders and inflammation; one thing causes another. Basically, if you have inflammation, your sleep will get messed up, and if your sleep patterns are already not organized, then your inflammation will get worse.

According to a study shared in the Journal of Sleep Science in 2017, circadian disruption can cause dysregulation of inflammation and immune system, which can worsen the circadian rhythms.

In any case, there is a study that discovered people who tend to sleep less or more than average would have higher levels of proteins related to their blood’s inflammation. So make sure to never sleep more or less than 7 or 8 hours every single night, including weekends.

The gums can be infected by a bacterial inflammation called periodontitis, which can damage the structures that supposed to be supporting your teeth.

This illness is more complicated than what occurs in our oral health. According to the study shared in the journal Circulation, this gum disease increases your chances of a heart attack by 50%.

There is research where they studied 1,600 adults from Sweden, 43% of the heart attack patients were actually diagnosed with periodontitis, while 33% of the patients didn’t.

So if you felt any infection in your gums, don’t neglect it and wait for it to wear down, go to your dentist and make sure everything is under control.
