This is another technique in the repertoire of how to massage neck pain. Of course, it’s a self-massage technique, so you will not need to employ the help of someone else. This massage for neck pain works mostly for Suboccipital muscles, which can cause headaches and dizziness if they become tight. This is how the technique works:

Head to your cranium and feel the soft area right under it. Use both your hands to apply gentle pressure to the area (left and right sides), which will help release some of the tightness in your Suboccipital muscles.

Keep applying the pressure while you lean your head back. After that, slowly put your chin to your chest all the while moving the fingers outward (keep the pressure). For a more effective treatment, make sure that you repeat the movements several times.

We know that neck pain is the most annoying thing ever. When you are suffering from it, you find yourself not able to perform a lot of the tasks that were otherwise very easy.
