This is how you massage the neck if what you’re feeling is lower neck pain. The first order of business: sit with your back straight and free your hands because we are going to use them both for this self-massage technique.
Place your palms on the sides of your neck, bring your head to the back a little, and then let your head drop to your left; do it gently, however. Now, squeeze the neck muscles that are located in the left backside of your neck until the feel hard and pleasant to the touch.
After that, repeat the same movements with the right side—keep doing it, left and right, all the while moving upward.
