Not knowing exactly how much water you drink per day is one of the most common mistakes that cause dehydration. You should keep track of the amount of water you ingest to evaluate if it is on par with the recommended value. There are many different and often contradictory opinions on this subject.

The best thing is to stick with the general rule of thumb of at least 8-ounce glasses of water per day. Of course, the values may differ from person to person (each person has different needs). If you have any doubts, talk to your doctor and ask for his advice. Just don’t drink water only when you are thirsty! Keep a bottle of water with you throughout the day and take a few sips now and then. [ads shortcode=”td_responsive”]
