If you’re showing abnormal fever symptoms, such as a fever that is greater than 100.4 degrees and sticks for a prolonged period of time, then that might be a sign of you having mono.
Moreover, if the fever appears alongside swollen glands, then you should be concerned. Keep taking your fever medicine, but go see a doctor and get your blood tested for mononucleosis. A cold that sticks with you for more than usual is also a sign of mono, so keep it in mind.
