During the winter, and as a direct result of the cold, we tend to spend the majority of our time indoors, in a place where we can feel warmer. Unfortunately, staying in enclosed spaces carries with it an increased risk of going down with a case of influenza.
Having less fresh air (cold air, we know!) means that we will be exposed to sick people who have chosen to confine themselves with us in the same space.
Save yourself the trouble of having to learn how to treat the flu, and spend more time in the fresh air and less time in a closed space in which you will be more susceptible to getting infected and having to get a flu shot or some effective flu medicine.
