Unfortunately, people who get diagnosed with prostate cancer usually get given about 5 years to live, and that estimation usually comes true.
It is true that the development of cancer can be curbed through prostate cancer surgery or hormone therapy for prostate cancer; but being the incurable disease it is, cancer always ends up claiming the life of the person that has a prostate cancer diagnosis. We hope that science will one day give cancer patients hope.
