#7 – Look after your gut

Imagine your gut as a skyscraper with lots and lots of apartments. Now imagine that in those apartments you have bacteria living. Well, your gut has so much bacteria that the building would fall down – so you really need to start taking care of your gut.

Say a big no to junk food and close the door on other bad habits like sleep deprivation or the recurring use of antibiotics. On the do list: eat lots of fiber-rich food, such as almonds, chia seeds or oats; don’t eat too fast in order to improve your digestion and facilitate the absorption of nutrients.

Probiotic supplements are also a plus since it contains good bacteria and helps with keeping the balance. And, of course, don’t forget to hydrate.

It’s not that hard to live a healthy and full life, and as soon as you start feeling better about yourself you will see that it’s all worth it. Don’t be in a rush, though – everyone has their own time.
