3. Do You Use a Shower Loofah? How Long Ago Did You Buy the Last One?

How to take care of yourself? Some people cannot resist a good bath in a full bath and with the loofah to massage and relax all parts of the body. And so far, so good because the shower plug can provide you with extraordinary stress relief. But when was the last time you change your loofah in the bathroom? If you don’t change the loofah in the bathroom regularly, you are likely to be rubbing and massaging your body with hundreds of germs. Why does this happen? Because dead skin cells are lodged in the loofah of the bathroom as you use it (as with a cotton swab) and with the steam that emanates from the hot water in the Shower, these microorganisms multiply easily. To prevent this from happening to you, it is recommended that you replace the showerhead every three weeks and allow it to dry completely after each use. Extra Tip: If the loofah has no plastic, you can microwave it every week for about 20 seconds for greater disinfection.

4. Exaggerating Body Exfoliation While In the Shower

While you are lying in the bathtub, exfoliating your body is a great way to remove the main dirt and dead cells found on the body’s skin. However, if you over-adopt this beauty procedure, it ends up having the opposite effect: you get dry skin. This also applies when you overuse any face exfoliator. Your skin will be much drier and greasier, as you will need to produce more oil to combat its dryness. From here, it is natural that you have clogged skin pores, get more acne, and have skin that is more sensitive to sun exposure.

5. Washing Your Face in the Shower? Most of Us do!

Everyone tends to wash their face while they are in the Shower. However, you should not do this because it goes against the rules of skincare. If you do it with hot water, you run the risk of getting very dry skin; if you wash your face with cold or icy water, you can cause blood vessels to break. Ideally, you should wash your face with warm water in a sink, as this does not pose any danger to your appearance. Extra Tip: Do not rub the towel over your body, as this will irritate the skin and remove its delicacy and natural appearance. It is preferable to do it with small touches, immediately followed by applying a good moisturizer.
