Here’s what ABCDE stands for: Asymmetry: check for moles with weird shapes, or moles where one half is noticeably different from the other. Border: check for irregular, ragged, or notched edges. Color: check for color variations and differences in shading. Diameter: check for big moles (the rule to follow is: if the mole is bigger than a pencil erases, it should be verified by a dermatologist). Evolving: check if the mole changes in shape, size, or thickness. Not every weirdly shaped mole is a cancer sentence. So, if you find a new odd mole on your body, don’t panic.
